"We serve with a purpose, to Honor and Preserve"
"Happenings!"
This page is dedicated, to "Happenings" primarily, in which members, of  "E"  Company, are involved,  but shall include specifics, not only involving our Members, but members, of the Tennessee Valley Battalion.
This page being entitled "Happenings," ergo we shall endeavor, to include matters, of the type, falling within the definition, of the word HAPPENINGS.  The most recent posting shall be displayed first, with previous postings being retained hereon.  If space becomes a concern, the decision shall be made as, to which postings, shall be removed.
Updates, hopefully will keep "E" Company members posted, about 'going-ons' as they affect our members.  As  our membership is dispersed, in diverse locations, it proves difficult for all members, to be present at each occurence.  This page will include descriptions of happenings as well as daguerreotypes, when available.  In keeping with the theme, of the saying: 'a daguerreotype is worth a thousand words,' when we are fortunate, to have access, to daguerreotypes, they shall be displayed, in a 'slide show.'
Newest Recruit!
All members, of "E" Company,  joyfully wish, to acclaim, the newest recruit of "E" Company,  5th Regiment Tennessee Infantry!  Now, we should have a drum roll, with the bugle sounding, but you will have to imagine both.  Let us one and all welcome ta da:
Master Reese Davidson
I shall retrieve all specifics concerning Commander Reese, and post same.
Marriage of
"Miss Lorie Ann Miller and Mister William Thomas Murley"
What would be more, apropos to inaugurate this page, than with the 'period' wedding, of  "E" Company members, Miss Lorie Ann Miller and Mister William Thomas Murley, solemnized by Chaplain Kenneth Lee Powers, on Saturday, the 17th day of May, in the Year of our Lord 2008, at Sacramento, McLean County, Kentucky.
